Upon hearing the news that Keurig Green Mountain is killing off its KOLD soda machine after less than a year on the market and refunding customers who paid up to $370 for the device, you might be thinking, “Hey, I have one of those things — how do I get my piece of the refund pie?” We’ve got answers.
First of all, you bought your KOLD from Keurig directly or registered it with the company afterward, you should be hearing from Keurig soon. But if you want to get a jump on the process, anyone who purchased a KOLD can visit http://ift.tt/216142Q to submit a refund request.
If you gave someone a KOLD as a gift, the company suggests letting them know that they can submit a refund request as well. During the submission process, they will be asked if they received the drinkmaker as a gift, Keurig says on its refund site.
Make sure you have a legible photo of your KOLD drinkmaker’s serial number as well as proof of purchase. You’ll only be able to submit one refund per serial number.
Once a request has been accepted it will take an estimated two to three weeks for a refund check to be issued.
Make sure to mark your calendar before you put off this task for too long: Refund requests will be honored through Aug. 31, 2016, the company said.
Customers with questions can also call (855)721-4002.
