When you’re flying internationally, you should be sure to leave plenty of time until your flight when you arrive at the airport, especially if you plan to check bags. Let’s say three hours if you’re flying out of a sprawling air metropolis like New York City’s JFK airport. These limits apply even if you are famous. Yes, even if you’re one of the Black Eyed Peas.

The drama began on Tuesday when Will.dont.you.know.who.i.am arrived at the airport for a flight to China, only to find that the airline had the audacity to give his seat away.
Yeah! Those jerks!
45 minutes for an international flight? That does seem like a tight timeline.
…Wait, the problem is that the airline doesn’t shut everything down in order to accommodate rich frequent flyers? Suddenly, the sympathies of non-rich readers and journalists alike turned against Will.
Fortunately, he was able to get a flight on another airline, perhaps even one with the proper respect for “premium” passengers.
