When the Internet read yesterday that anyone who bought a Red Bull in the last 12 years was eligible for a refund or complimentary beverage as part of a false advertising lawsuit settlement, apparently too many people were thirsty. The original URL given to file a claim and read more information about the settlement no longer works.
You can still get to the claim form by going here, but as Buzzfeed points out, the settlement is capped at $13 million. If more than 1.3 million people want $10 or a can of Red Bull, that’s just not going to work out, mathwise.
And if that form doesn’t work, you can try to submit via one of the below options as well:
The site remains down, but you can still file a claim form via the following:
• Mail: Class Action Settlement Administrator at Energy Drink Settlement, c/o GCG, P.O. Box 35123, Seattle, WA 98124-5123
• By fax: (844) 553-1373
• By email: energydrinksettlement@gcginc.com
As for the other parts of the site besides the online claim form, none of those links are operational anymore either.
