Target Learns To Round Up, Or Is Maybe Just Confused

http://ift.tt/1ue7a4J

target-fanThis fan at Target has a regular price of $15.99, but was advertised in the chain’s circular as $16. “Apparently they are proud to advertise a $0.01 price hike,” writes tipster Bob. Is that it? Or has Target started to round prices up in order to make them more logical?

Nah: can’t be that. It’s probably just that the fan isn’t on sale, and a penny here and there doesn’t matter when you’re putting together a sale flyer. If they put up a “two fans for $35″ sign, then we’d be back to some good old-fashioned Target math.
