Google’s traffic app Waze has long been used by commuters looking for the best possible route from point A to point B. Now, some of those drivers can use the app to find the best parking spot at the end of their trip.
The Verge reports that Waze has teamed up with transportation data firm INRIX to improve its recently launched “where to park” feature.
Now, instead of simply suggesting a parking garage or lot close to one’s destination, Waze’s feature will be able to analyze current parking traffic and steer drivers toward the best possible spot.
With INRIX’s data — which includes real-time road traffic information and parking capacity from garages — Where To Park will offer users estimated pricing.
