Taco Bell Testing All-Day Breakfast In At Least One Location

Have you heard of this crazy idea that breakfast foods can be consumed throughout the day? It’s a concept that has worked out pretty well for McDonald’s, and now Taco Bell is apparently willing to give it a try.

How do we know? Because at least one Taco Bell, located in Dallas, is serving breakfast 24/7, GrubGrade reports (via The Motley Fool). That’s according to a tipster who snapped a photo of a “$1 all day” sign next to an image of some breakfast tacos.

Taco Bell first launched its breakfast menu in 2014, offering a variety of gravy-soaked breakfast items as well as coffee. Then in 2016, it debuted its “morning value menu” nationwide.

It won’t be the first chain to try to capture some of that breakfast magic: Jack in the Box recently started testing a “brunchfast” menu in South California as well.

We’ve reached out to Taco Bell to ask about the scope of the test and what items are on the all-day menu, but in the meantime, let us know if you see this happening at your local Taco Bell: send an email (with photos, if you can!) to tips@consumerist.com.
