Have you ever scrolled through your Facebook news feed and noticed a friend had scored tickets to that awesome concert or sporting event, but decided it was simply too much work to actually search for the event yourself? That’s about to change — if the tickets are sold through Ticketmaster.

Starting later this month, Ticketmaster is planning sell event tickets directly on Facebook, BuzzFeed News reports.

The ticket purchasing ability seems like a natural evolution for Ticketmaster, which already hosts live event pages for artists on the social network.

“By putting the ability to buy tickets directly within Facebook we hope that we’re going to provide a more seamless purchase experience and sell more tickets,” Dan Armstrong, VP and GM of distributed commerce at Ticketmaster, tells BuzzFeed News.

The integration allows customers to purchase their tickets without leaving Facebook, however they must claim the tickets through the Ticketmaster website.

Facebook will receive a standard affiliate fee for each ticket purchased via Ticketmaster on its network. Ticketmaster declined to comment on just how much that fee would be, saying it does not comment on contractual agreements.

While Ticketmaster says the buy-on-Facebook will become available at the end of the month, the rollout will be limited to a select group of users initially.
