If you picked up an infant bicycle helmet from Target recently you might want to check to make sure it’s not one of 129,000 recently recalled.

Target and Pacific Cycle announced the recall of the Schwinn infant helmets with no-pinch buckle chin straps after receiving reports that a small plastic piece and magnet can come loose.

According to a notice posted with the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the helmet’s chin strap contains small plastic covers and magnets that can come loose, posing a risk of choking and magnet ingestion to young children.

Pacific Cycle says it is aware of three reports of the plastic cover coming loose, but no injuries related to the issue.

The helmets, made for infants ranging rom one to three years of age, were sold exclusively at Target stores and online from January 2014 to April 2016.

Owners of the affected helmets should immediately take the helmets away from children and contact Pacific Cycle for instructions on how to receive a free replacement helmet. Pacific Cycle can be reached at 877-564-2261 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST Monday through Friday, email customerservice@pacific-cycle.com or online at www.schwinnbikes.com
