What’s a cowboy to do after a long day at a calf-roping competition? For one Texan, tradition dictates going to Taco Bell for a post-event meal. But this time, he decided to trot his trusty steed right into the restaurant, much to the delight of his fellow customers.
The man told FOX-4 that he had just finished a tie-down calf roping competition on his horse last week, and headed to the fast food chain for his traditional post-event meal. His friends suggested he get back in the saddle and ride into the restaurant, so he did, taking his horse right through the front doors.
“Well it’s just kind of an everyday thing for us to do stuff like that,” he said. “It’s not really a big deal, but I guess everybody else don’t ever see nothing like that.”
He posted video of the horseback visit on Instagram, which shows how delighted the diners there were to see the four-footed beast:
Taco Bell didn’t comment on the incident to FOX-4.
