Beef, chicken, onions, bell peppers, string beans: those are the ingredients that you should find in a two-person frozen meal. What isn’t a tasty and nutritious ingredient in a P.F. Chang’s frozen meal are metal shards, and a few tons of frozen meals have been recalled on the off chance some metal pieces on the assembly line might have ended up inside the meal packaging.

Here’s what you should check for in your freezer:

P.F. Chang’s Home Menu Brand Signature Spicy Chicken: 22 ounces, with a “use by” date of 6/08/17, and case code 5006616500.
P.F. Chang’s Home Menu Brand Mongolian Style Beef: 22 ounces, with a “use by” date of 6/17/17, and case code 5006617400.

The USDA inspection site number, which all meat products should have, is 233. The products were shipped to Arkansas, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Vermont, and Wisconsin.xxx

If you have these items at home, call ConAgra at 1-800-252-0634. The company says that customers should return the items to the store or throw them away, and contact them for a refund if they don’t return the affected meals to the store.

Fortunately, no one has been injured yet by one of these fragments: an employee noticed them while dispensing sugar to make sauce. To be certain, the company is recalling products that included the affected sugar.
